Hello I am Terry Silk.
I was born and raised in Halesowen in the West Midlands, and lived there all my life. Born to a traditional working class family where Art School was a privilege my family could ill afford. I have a natural artistic talent for painting landscapes and historic buildings, and have a specific interest in Public Houses because I was born in a Public House in Central Halesowen called the Ye Old Littleton Arms.
I am an artist that enjoys painting from the heart and do not work on commissioned pieces. I enjoy and largely focus on subjects that are inspired by scenes and places that have interest and meaning to me. I hope that some of the work you view in my website may capture your heart and interest for your own reasons, and for this I am happy to share them, in order you can enjoy a momentous moment in your own way.
